Lapsus$, Excel RAT, Honda Hackers, Lunar Landers, Windows Easter Egg Spiceworks Originals.Obviously, you don't want to do this until you have the Watchguard configured and ready to go. If you ISP has provided a Router/Modem combo, ask them for JUST a modem or ask them to turn the router functions OFF of the device they supplied. The Watchguard is a UTM and it has quite a few capabilities beyond just a standard firewall, it can do ALOT of things like VPN/Spam filter/IPS/AV/ETC ETC.īasically, if I was in your position I would probably go straight from the ISP modem\DMARC to the WatchGuard WAN port. For your sized environment, I would absolutely use the WatchGuard for this as opposed to standing up another server, vm, or buying a separate device. But I know it can do SSLVPN using AD credentials just fine. You are going to have to read the Watchguard manuals to determine what it can and can't do with VPN. In addition to security, you then are expanding your support requirements to machines that you did not setup and have no control over. People may have differing views on this and BYOD (bring your own device) has become a "thing" these days, but unless you have security measures designed around mitigating BYOD issues, you should definitely not use your own device or let anyone else use their personal devices.
